On the 18th of September 2013, an annual shooting exercise was conducted for all the ASEANAPOL Secretariat’s staff members from the Royal Malaysia Police.
On the 18th of September 2013, an annual shooting exercise was conducted for all the ASEANAPOL Secretariat’s staff members from the Royal Malaysia Police. This exercise was carried out at the Royal Malaysia Police Headquarters indoor shooting range. The objectives of the exercise are to maintain the shooting skills of the members, discipline, confidence and the latest rules and regulations in regards to the usage and safety of fire arms. The exercise started at exactly 0900 hrs, with a briefing from the Director for Police Services.
All participants were given the opportunity to use several semi-automatic weapons like Magnum, Sig Seur and Walther. Target shooting were carried out at a distance of 10 meters and 25 meters. A debriefing was later conducted by ACP Mohamad Anil Shah Abdullah to thank all parties involved, especially the Royal Malaysia Police Armaments Division for accommodating the Secretariat for the exercise. The two hour exercise concluded at about 1100 hrs.
