The 34th ASEANAPOL Conference was successfully held at SOFITEL Plaza Hotel, Manila, The Philippines from 12th to 16th May, 2014. Since the conference has been a traditional event and conducted on a rotational basis, this year the Philippine National Police was given the honour to host the event in consonance with ' Together We Keep This Region Safe'. The conference successfully brought in all the chiefs of police and delegates from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam and host country Philippines to Manila. Besides the member countries, ASEANAPOL Dialogue Partners - China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, ICPO-Interpol, and ASEAN Secretariat also sent their respective representatives to the conference. Russian Federation attended as an observer and was elevated to the status of Dialogue Partner during the Conference.
