Student Visit to Learn About ASEANAPOL

On 11/6/2014, 9.30 am, a group of students and 3 teachers headed by its Vice Provost, Mr. Nathaniel Hyman from Darunsikkhalai School for Innovative Learning, King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, Bangkok, Thailand visited ASEANAPOL Secretariat.
The purpose of the visit was for the students to learn more about ASEANAPOL and its role in the ASEAN region.
The entourage was received by the Executive Director, ASEANAPOL Secretariat and given a briefing on the Roles and Functions of the Secretariat and general information about ASEANAPOL by DSP Aidah bt. Othman, DSP for Plans & Programmes whilst ASP Bala Subramanian S/O K. Suppiah acted as the master of ceremony.
Following the briefing the students interviewed the Director for Police Services, ACP Mohamad Anil Shah for a documentary project as part of the students activities during their tour.
This was a first of its kind learning visit hosted by the Secretariat upon the request of this Learning Institution and it is hoped would create further awareness for the younger future generation of ASEAN and learn about ASEAN National Police Forces and its role in keeping this region safe.
