ASEANAPOL represented by the ASEANAPOL Secretariat participated at this 83rd session of the General Assembly together with ASEAN Police Chiefs and their delegation. This assembly has special significance for INTERPOL as it marks 100 years of Police Cooperation and the launch of the TURN BACK CRIME Global Awareness Campaign. ASEANAPOL also marked a first time presentation during a panel discussion moderated by INTERPOL and represented by AFRIPOL, ASEANAPOL and EUROPOL. The Director for Police Services, ACP Mohamad Anil Shah represented ASEANAPOL in this panel on the theme titled " Regional and Global Police Cooperation, Seeking Synergies and Complementarity". Also at hand was ASP Raiz Mukhliz Azman Aziz who provided valuable support towards the successful completion of ASEANAPOL presentation.
