The Executive Director of the ASEANAPOL Secretariat Police Inspector General Yohanes Agus Mulyono, accompanied by PSSupt Ferdinand Realtor P Bartolome and ACP Aidah Othman, Director for Police Services and Director for Plans and Programs, respectively, paid a courtesy visit to the ASEAN Secretariat at its Headquarters in Jakarta, Indonesia on 21 August 2017 and were generously welcomed by Deputy Secretary-General for ASEAN Political-Security Community (APSC), H.E. Hirubalan V P.
The visit was highlighted by a brief presentation and discussion of each other organizational’s mandate and on how does it could help and assist each other’s goals and objectives and possibly sychronize efforts in the pursuance of respective organizational goals and objectives, particularly in the aspect of adressing transnational crime in the region.
During the conversation, H.E. Hirubalan, expressed their keen interest of involving the ASEANAPOL in the implementation of ASEAN Plans and Programs and its Secretariat is planning to submit a concept paper pertaining to it of which he further insinuated to present it at the HOD Forum on the forthcoming ASEANAPOL Conference to be held in Singapore next month.
The visit was very cordial, both parties looking forward for a better and brighter working relationship in the days to come.
