The Secretary-General of Lancang-Mekong Comprehensive Law Enforcement & Security Cooperation Center (LM-LECC) Mr. Zheng Baigang accompanied by his Deputy Secretary General, Mr Anphanh Xayasoubath, Mr. Zhang Zhe, Director of Integrated Coordination & Operation Support Department and Ms Pan, paid a courtesy visit to the ASEANAPOL Secretariat in Kuala Lumpur on 20 December 2019 and were generously welcomed by the Executive Director of ASEANAPOL Secretariat, Pol. Col. Kenechanch Phommachack, Deputy Assistant Commissioner Jim Wee, Director for Police Services and officers of ASEANAPOL Secretariat.
The visit was highlighted by a brief presentation of each other organizational mandate and how does it could help and assist each other goals, objective and possibly synchronize efforts in the pursuance of respective entities while was followed by a discussion on area of potential cooperation such as illicit drug and illegal human trafficking.
The visit was very cordial and both parties looking forward for a better and brighter working relationship in the days to come.
