On behalf of ASEANAPOL Secretariat, Police Services Officer II, Assistant Superintendent of Police Khairul Izham Md Noh, attended as a guest presenter on 19th May 2022 in conjunction to the five days capacity building program led by Australian Federal Police (AFP) called The Cyber Safety Asia (CSA) Program in Manila which was initiated by Australian Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade (DFAT).
With the aimed of working together with law enforcement partners across South East ASEAN and to assist in developing cyber-related crimes investigation skills especially on the field of online sexual exploitation of children (OSEC) amongst the related major stakeholders, the presentation titled ‘Enhancing Global & Regional Law Enforcement Cooperation to Effectively Combat Cybercrime Through Operational & Strategic Planning’ has been delivered to the course participants which consist of personnel from Philippine National Police and National Bureau of Investigation of Philippines’s Department of Justice.
The forum has manifested a significant collaboration within ASEANAPOL and AFP as ASEANAPOL Dialogue Partners in forging partnership for constantly synergize the efforts against the global threats in building a safer and secure community in the ASEAN territory by enhancing harmonization to ensure the regional peace and stability.
