committee Chairperson for DVI/CSI was handed over to the Indonesia National Police at the 5th conference in Cambodia, indicating a coordinated effort among ASEAN member states to manage forensic science initiatives. The forthcoming 6th APFSN meeting will be held in Laos PDR in mid-May 2024, emphasizing the continuity of collaboration efforts and providing a platform for further discussion and progress in forensic science cooperation. Holding successive meetings for the APFSN ensures progress in sustaining collaboration among ASEANAPOL forensic law enforcement professionals. These meetings allow for the review of Terms of Reference (TOR) and Guidelines of Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) / Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) and provide opportunities for capacity building, sharing intelligence, and enhancing cooperation.
