March 25, 2024, marked a pivotal moment in law enforcement training! 🌟 ASEANAPOL, under the guidance of Executive Director David Martinez Vinluan, conducted a profound session for 400 aspiring protectors from the Philippine National Police (PNP) Public Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC) at Regional Training Center 4A, Camp BGen Vicente P Lim, Calamba Laguna, Philippines.
Upon the gracious invitation of Police Colonel Marlon V. Rufo, Chief of Regional Training Center 4A (Calabarzon), Executive Director Vinluan shed light on ASEANAPOL's rich history, mission, and vision as part of an ongoing awareness campaign. Emphasizing the crucial role of future law enforcers in maintaining regional security, cooperation, and collaboration were underscored as essential tools against emerging threats of transnational organized crimes.
In the second segment, Vinluan delivered a compelling lecture on the PNP Use of Force Policy and the Use of Force Continuum. These policies, integral to the PNP Revised Police Operational Procedures of September 2021, are indispensable guides for officers in the field.
The PSBRC stands as a testament to rigorous training, equipping new police non-commissioned officers with vital skills in police science, administration, combat operations, and tactics. Moreover, it fosters the essential norms of conduct vital for every officer serving as guardians of peace and protectors of lives and properties.
It's paramount that all law enforcement personnel across the 10 ASEANAPOL Member Countries grasp the mission and vision of ASEANAPOL. Together, we fortify the safety and security of our region!
