Inspector Kang Na Rae, the project manager for KNPA’s “iNarae” initiative, highlighted the agency’s commitment to working with ASEAN Member Countries to exchange timely information on websites containing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). This initiative aims to protect children and facilitate the arrest and prosecution of offenders. The ASEANAPOL Secretariat reaffirmed its commitment to expanding this initiative beyond KNPA to include ASEAN Member Countries, DPs, and OBs, thereby creating a broader network to enhance online safety for minors.
The Executive Director also expressed gratitude for the KNPA's invitation to the International Symposium on Cybercrime Response (ISCR) 2024, scheduled for August 26 to 29, 2024, in Seoul, Korea. The symposium promises to be an invaluable platform for sharing insights and strengthening international cooperation in combating cybercrime.
