On January 13, 2025, the ASEANAPOL Secretariat welcomed representatives from Group-IB to its headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. The delegation, led by Mr. Darren Ng, Regional Sales Director, and Ms. Evon Tan, Sales Director, was warmly received by the Secretariat’s Executive Director, Police Colonel David Martinez Vinluan, alongside Director for Police Services Pol. Snr. Supt. Huntal Tambunan and Plans and Programmes Officer I DSP Suresh Subramaniam. During the meeting, the Group-IB team provided an insightful briefing on their services, emphasizing their expertise in combating cybercrime and their global partnerships with INTERPOL, EUROPOL, and AFRIPOL. Police Colonel Vinluan expressed his appreciation for the valuable insights shared and highlighted the ASEANAPOL Secretariat’s interest in exploring collaborations to enhance police investigations, particularly in monitoring threats and combating cybercrime.
Group-IB showcased its proactive and reactive cybersecurity services, which are designed to protect individuals, organizations, and systems against evolving cyber threats. Their capabilities include advanced threat monitoring, 24/7 incident response through CERT-GIB, and digital forensics to reconstruct cyber incidents, identify perpetrators, and provide legally compliant evidence. Additionally, their vulnerability assessments and solutions help organizations mitigate risks and build resilient defenses.
