On 27 January 2025, Executive Director Police Colonel David Martinez Vinluan, alongside a delegation from the ASEANAPOL Secretariat, paid a courtesy call on the Royal Thai Police (RTP) at their headquarters in Bangkok, Thailand.
The meeting, hosted by Pol. Lt. Gen. Ittipol Ittisarnronnachai, Assistant Commissioner General, RTP, and attended by senior RTP officials,
reaffirmed the strong partnership between ASEANAPOL and RTP in advancing regional security and transnational crime prevention.

Preparations for the 43rd ASEANAPOL Conference in 2025, with RTP reviewing the feasibility of hosting the event in July instead of September.
Enhancing law enforcement cooperation to combat transnational crime.
Proposal for an exhibitor and sponsorship component at the conference to strengthen engagement.
Nomination of the 9th Executive Director of the ASEANAPOL Secretariat (2026-2027).
Executive Director Vinluan commended RTP for its strong commitment and proactive stance in addressing emerging transnational crime threats, recognizing RTP’s vital role in maintaining regional stability and security.
