The Courtesy meeting held on 21 May 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, chaired by Senior Superintendent of Police Huntal Tambunan together with representatives from the Clear Tail Technology, focused on Strategic Discussion on ASEAN Regional Law Enforcement Cooperation and Technology Integration. The discussion brought together ASEANAPOL and Clear Tail Technology to enhance regional cooperation in combating transnational and digital crimes through technology integration, intelligence sharing, and capacity-building initiatives. Key topics included emerging threats such as cybercrime, terrorism, financial fraud, human trafficking, and digital radicalisation. The session also emphasised the role of AI-driven intelligence, digital surveillance, encrypted communication analysis, and cross-border data sharing in strengthening modern law enforcement operations. Clear Tail Technology shared its expertise in artificial intelligence and big data analytics, while ASEANAPOL highlighted the importance of regional collaboration, continuous training, and enhancement of intelligence-sharing platforms across ASEAN member countries. The meeting concluded with both parties agreeing to further strengthen cooperation through specialised workshops, technological integration, and sustained capacity-building efforts to support regional law enforcement effectiveness.
