PSSUPT FERDINAND REALTOR P BARTOLOME, Director for Police Services of the ASEANAPOL Secretariat attended the Third Global Financial Crime and Security (FCS) Forum in The Hague in June 8-9, 2017, hosted by the European Association of Secure Transactions (EAST) at Grand Hotel Amrath Kurhaus, Den Haag, The Netherlands. The event which was participated by more than a hundred members and experts from the financial crime and security sector was opened by Ms Úna Dillon, Chair of the EAST- EAST FCS and was highlighted by the presentations of Director Steven Wilson, Head of the European Cyber Crime Centre at Europol outlining the proven benefits of coordinated efforts to combat ATM fraud and organised crime; Director Lachlan Gunn, Executive Director of EAST giving an overview of the European ATM Crime picture and sharing the new strategic vision for EAST; Mr Kevin McCleary of the US Secret Service presenting information on latest ATM crime in the United States; Mr. Nikolai Dosh, Master Card Members Association-Russia giving an update on the ATM crime situation in Russia; Mr. Oscar Castellano, ATEFI, and Mr. Cristian Patti, Red Link, presenting on what is happening in the ATM crime space in the Latin America region; and PSSUPT Bartolome speaking on ASEANAPOL and it’s initiatives in relation to the campaign against payment card fraud in the Southeast Asian region.
