ASEANAPOL Secretariat Strengthens Cooperation with UAE Regional Police Attaché

Kuala Lumpur, 26 June 2026 – The ASEANAPOL Secretariat received a courtesy call from the UAE Regional Police Attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Hamad Yousif Khatir Zahid Al Hammadi, at the ASEANAPOL Secretariat Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur.

The meeting was chaired by Police Senior Colonel Dr. Kongkrissada Kittithiraphong, Executive Director of the ASEANAPOL Secretariat, and attended by senior officials of the Secretariat.

Discussions focused on enhancing regional and international police cooperation, including preparations for the 45th ASEANAPOL Conference, strengthening operational coordination, and promoting participation in key ASEANAPOL initiatives.

The Secretariat also highlighted ongoing efforts to enhance coordination mechanisms, capacity-building programmes, and strategic initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and unity among member countries.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening collaboration, information sharing, and future engagement in support of regional and international law enforcement cooperation.
