ASEANAPOL Strengthens Regional Fight Against Online Scams

The ASEANAPOL Secretariat continues to advance regional efforts against online scams by supporting the development and strengthening of National Anti-Scam Centres across ASEAN Member Countries.

Through close cooperation with the ASEAN Secretariat, Japan, and regional partners, ASEANAPOL is promoting the exchange of best practices, operational coordination, intelligence sharing, and victim protection mechanisms to enhance national and regional responses against transnational scam syndicates.

This initiative reflects ASEANAPOL’s commitment to building stronger national capabilities while laying the foundation for deeper regional cooperation through the ASEANAPOL Scam Combat Task Force (ASCOT) and other collective efforts to combat cyber-enabled crime.
