ASEANAPOL Reaffirms Support for IICA in Combating Transnational Scam Crime

The ASEANAPOL Secretariat participated in the opening ceremony of the 1st Annual Forum of the International Investigative Cooperation Alliance (IICA), hosted by the Korean National Police Agency (KNPA) in Incheon, Republic of Korea.

ASEANAPOL has been a partner in the IICA initiative since its launch in October 2025, together with the founding countries and INTERPOL, reflecting its continued commitment to international cooperation against transnational scam crime.

Dr. Kongkrissada Kittithiraphong, Executive Director of the ASEANAPOL Secretariat, reaffirmed ASEANAPOL’s support for stronger international investigative cooperation, timely information sharing, and coordinated action against cross-border scam networks.

The ASEANAPOL Secretariat commends KNPA for its leadership in bringing law enforcement partners together and looks forward to continued cooperation in protecting people from scam crime.
